The choice is clear because there was never a vote. Screw City is one idea chased all the way down: art belongs everywhere — even on the head of a bolt — and nobody needs permission to make something their own.
That’s the rogue spirit. The individual over the industry. The hand over the machine. We don’t wait to be told what belongs on a skateboard — we etch it, gem it, and ride it.
And the industry noticed. Large players in this business have already taken our ideas and run them at scale — no name, no credit. We could burn our lives being mad about it. Instead we read it for what it is: imitation is the receipt for invention.
So no — we won’t stop. Every idea they lift just clears the bench for the next one. And the next one is already on it.
